As we accelerate into Spring, Studio Ecology wakes from a winter of dreaming to the sound of music. Step into a space where the four winds meet, and visitors are immersed in layers of woodwinds and drums. In this vibrant environment all are invited to participate in the most hopeful of acts: making marks with floral brushes and helping to plant a studio pigment garden. Throughout the evening seeds will be set in motion by burying them in cool soil, while siren singers conjure the growth of all involved. Join Saint Kate Artist in Residence Jeff Zimpel and his creative collaborators, enjoy light refreshments and live entertainment, and take part in the tending of his Studio Ecology.
