Caña Brava is comprised of Bony Benavides on percussion and Darele Bisquerra on voice and guitarra sharing lively folkloric music.
The colorful song lyrics tell tales from the montañas, beaches, rainforests and humble footpaths of Pan-Latin America, painting scenes of island tides, swaying palms and coastal breeze.
Bony conveys bright, crisp, vibrant rhythms through her congas, cajon, bongos and maracas while singing with sincere joy. Darele sings melodies in warm, mellow tones in Spanish, Portuguese, English and a touch of Quechua as she exudes a tender sense of strength in her heartfelt guitarwork.
