Zach Tremblay is a finger-style guitar composer and singer-songwriter, hailing from the Atlantic side of sunny north-eastern Florida. Writing his first album at the ripe-young age of 13, Tremblay has been releasing music and performing ever since. After solely composing as a singer-songwriter for ten years, he began exploring the exciting world of finger-style guitar as well. This passion eventually led him to the acclaimed finger-style guitar program at U.W. Milwaukee to study under the tutelage of John Stropes (i.e. “the pope of the finger-style guitar community”). While studying with Stropes, Tremblay has composed and released four finger-style albums full of ideas inspired by the unique repertoire of the finger-style performance program. Currently, Zach is finishing up his M.F.A. in finger-style performance at U.W.M. where he currently works as the T.A. for the finger-style program.
